Welcome to The Hann Homestead Inn

The Hann Homestead Inn

is a historic 1840 Bed & Breakfast and Event Venue Located in Andover, NY

Welcome back home, to the Hann Homestead Inn… even if it’s your very first time…

Interested in traveling off the beaten path? Follow in the footsteps of Revolutionary War Patriots as they made their way from New England to the wilderness of Western New York. In 1840, the beautiful Hann Homestead Inn was built by Simeon and Rachel on a 600 acre tract of land that is now owned by their GGG Granddaughter Barbara (Strouse) Rechenberg and her husband Kurt Rechenberg. The Historic Hann Homestead Inn is located in Andover, NY.  Now situated on 16 acres of beautiful rolling countryside, it can be found in the heart of the Southern Tier of Western New York State. A former stage coach stop and Inn and a rumored part of the Underground Railroad , the 177 year old home is truly a trip back in history with a modern flair.

Featured are: Five guest rooms, four fireplaces, three relaxing porches, and gazebo on the grounds Amenities include: King and Queen pillow-top mattresses. Three of the guest rooms have a shared common hall bath while the upstairs suite and the large downstairs bedroom each has a private bath.

Access to the local Tall Pines ATV park can be made right from the Inn and if you are a sportsman or woman, you will love watching our 9 acre field from the second story porch or maybe fishing in our much sought after fishing hole on Dyke Creek (stocked with Brook Trout by the NYS DEC). Lots of opportunities to take a walk in the countryside or to just enjoy sitting in our yard.

Explore the southern tier of WNY, leaf peep, fish in the creek on the property, or bring your ATV’s. Allegany County has many outdoor sports, events, festivals, and beautiful views for you to discover.

We are open year round and are kid friendly! Sorry, we do not allow pets
